HMS 'Albatross' (1873)
Scale: 1:48. A half block model of the starboard side of the composite screw sloop HMS 'Albatross', 4 guns, made entirely in wood and painted in realistic colours. The hull is painted brick red below the waterline and black above. There is a well for the propeller which is either missing or was not originally fitted. Fittings include stump bowsprit, foremast, mainmast, and mizzen masts. The model is displayed on a backboard painted white with a bevelled edge. On plaque attached upper part of backboard
