HMS 'Camperdown' (1885)
Scale: 1:192. Half block model of HMS 'Camperdown' (1885), a barbette ship made entirely from wood. The hull is painted a pink-red with the upperworks and bulwarks painted black, both of which are divided by a thin white line along the waterline. The lower hull is fitted with a rudder and a prop shaft at the stern, whilst the bow is fitted with a ram reinforced by a horizontal stringer. The main deck is finished in a light brown colour on which is mounted a central citadel painted white with a barbette on either side on the bow and stern, both of which are painted black. The upper portion of the hull is complete with a number of circular portholes, two apertures amidships, a pair of hawsepipes at the bow painted red internally and a pair of small guns mounted in turrets at the stern. The upper deck of the citadel is complete with a pair of funnels painted a light yellow colour, a single stump mast painted a pink-red and a forward and aft bridge painted white with light brown decking. either side of the funnel and are painted black with white upperworks. The whole model is mounted on a wooden backboard which has been overlayed with either paper or card, painted a yellow-brown colour surrounded by a moulded edge painted black.

Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
