Hussey and James working in the laboratory on board 'Endurance' (1912)
Leonard Hussey (meteorologist) and Reginald James (physicist) [left & right] in the laboratory (known as the 'Rookery') onboard 'Endurance' (1912) during the winter of 1915. Hussey can be seen examining the Dine's anemometer, while James cleans the rime off the dip circle. The electrograph to the left of James was fitted in March 1915.
