Ingot commemorating the inauguration of the free commercial port of La Plata, 1910. Obverse: Mercury seated (right), a caduceus in his left hand; behind him a female figure standing on the shore, a spray of laurel on her right arm, her left hand resting on the shield of Argentina; port-bow view of a passenger ship under steam (left) approaching.
