Jug by John Wall zoom

Milk jug, part of a Queen's pattern tea service said to have belonged to Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The jug is white, decorated with a pattern of curving gold lines overall with scalloped gold rim. It has a narrow neck and a small, very angular lip. The lid has a small flower knob with the leaves picked out in gold. The lid may not originally have belonged to this jug.
