Jug with a portrait of Admiral Sir George Brydges Rodney (1719-1792)
Mask jug moulded as the head of Admiral Sir George Brydges Rodney (1719-1792), coloured in blue, brown and green. The head has a curled wig, the queue turned up to form the handle. The coat collar is blue, and the hat band is moulded with decorative designs and a blue flag with white cross in the front, superimposed on naval trophies. The eyes and eyebrows of the face are touched in blue.
