Lloyds Patriotic Fund £100 Presentation Sword

A Lloyds Patriotic Fund £100 Presentation Sword owned by Vice-Admiral Thomas Dundas (d.1841). The hilt consists of a diamond-knurled ivory grip, with the gilt-metal pommel and back-piece in the form of a lion's skin. The quillon is in the form of a Roman fasces and the knuckle-guard in the form of the club of Hercules entwined with a snake which attaches to a loop in the lion's mouth. The langets are engraved with triangular floral pendants, below which is a rectangular plaque with a group in relief of a cannon, anchor, trident etc. The sword is complete with a blue and gold sword-knot and a fitted mahogany box lined with blue baize.

Manufactured in the UK

All products are printed in the UK, using the latest digital presses and a giclée printmaking process.

We only use premium branded inks, and colours are independently verified to last between 100 and 200 years.

Delivery & returns

We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.

Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.

We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.
