Loving cup commemorating the Trafalgar centenary
A miniature loving cup with straight sides and gold handles. On one side a printed profile portrait of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) within a green laurel wreath tied with blue ribbon. It is inscribed 'NELSON 1805'. On the other side, a quarter view of 'HMS Victory' under sail inscribed 'HMS VICTORY'. A green laurel band runs around the rim. The maker's mark is printed on the base.
