Margaret Bowater
Scale: Unknown. A model of the starboard side of 'Margaret Bowater' and 'Sarah Bowater' (1954), cargo vessels made entirely in wood and varnished. The hull is marked to show the hull plates, decks, port holes, promenade deck openings, propeller cavity, and other features. The main superstructure is placed aft of amidships and is marked to show two promenades. There is a short forecastle, foredeck, aft deck, a long main deck, and a short aft cargo deck. On top of the superstructure is: 'NOS 1471-2'. The model is displayed on a plywood backboard.
