Medal commemorating Admiral Sir Samuel Greig (1735-1788). Obverse: Bust of Admiral Greig draped with a flag of which the staff shows behind (left). Legend in Russian (Samuel, son of Charles Greig, Russian admiral). Reverse: A female figure wearing a mural crown, standing on the steps of an inscribed obelisk, decorated with flags above and trophies below, wreathes Grieg's coat of arms with the collar of the Order of St Andrew; the fleet at anchor in the distance. Inscription in Russian on the obelisk (In memory of labour and of service). Exergue: In Russian (Died 15th day of October, year 1788).
