Obverse: Bust of the discoverer Christopher Columbus (1451-1506) with short hair, wearing a fur-lined cloak and cross (left). Legend: 'EN CONMEMORACION DEL 4 . CENTENARIO DEL DESCUBRIMIENTO DE AMERICA . 1892.' (In commemoration of the fourth centenary of the discovery of America.) Inner: 'CRISTOBAL COLON.'
