Medal commemorating the bombardment of Algiers, 1816. Obverse: The bust of the Prince Regent (left), laureate. Richly chased armour, Ribbon of Garter over left shoulder, Golden Fleece round neck. Over left shoulder a cloak with Stars of Garter, Thistle, St. Patrick, and Ste. Reverse: General view of the bombardment. The crescent in the heavens over the town. A gold example awarded to Lord Exmouth is on display in the Royal Naval Museum, Portsmouth.
