The land and sea victories commemorated on this medal demonstrate the global reach of the Seven Years War: Fort Niagara, Crown Point and Quebec in North America; Quiberon Bay off the French coast; Guadeloupe in the eastern Caribbean; and Lagos off the Spanish and Portuguese coasts.
