Medal commemorating the SS 'Great Britain'. Obverse: Starboard broadside view of the vessel, carrying fore and aft sail on six masts, a topgallant sail is set on the main mast. Legend: 'THE GREAT BRITAIN STEAMSHIP'. Exergue: 'LENGTH 322 FEET MAIN BREADTH 50 FT 6. DEPTH 32 FT. 6.' Reverse: Bust of Prince Albert in uniform (left).
