Medal commemorating Vernon's capture of Porto Bello, 1739, and proposed attack on Havana 1741. Obverse: Full-length figure of Admiral Edward Vernon (1684-1757), (three-quarter left), sword upright in right hand, left on hip. Small cannon pointing left, behind Vernon, his right foot standing on the long trail. Reverse: View of the port. Six ships, placed one, two, three, all sailing to right.
