Scale: Unknown. A model of a chain nipper made entirely from copper which has oxidised leaving a dark bronze finish. It consists of a pair of tapering rods rectangular in shape which resemble a pair of scissors. The larger tapering end finishes with a pair of bent hooks for engaging the anchor chain cable whilst at the top are a pair of small circular eyes to which is attached a length of chain. At the end of the chain there is an elongated single link and a piece of metal formed in the shape of a '9'. One of a set of three models: see also SLR1913 and SLR1914.
