Ordnance model

Scale: 1:5. A working model of a forward pivot mounting. The gun itself has been roughly formed from wood to give an indication of its position on the mounting. The training and mounting mechanism are made in brass. Both the elevation of the gun and its training can be operated by turning two hand wheels; the right-hand wheel for elevation and the left-hand wheel for the training. The carriage, which is made from steel, is mounted on a substantial oak baseboard on which is fixed a plaque inscribed: "Sir W. G. Armstrong Whitworth & Co Ltd Manchester Forward pivot carriage for 4.72 Bl guns Naval service scale 1/5."

Manufactured in the UK

All products are printed in the UK, using the latest digital presses and a giclée printmaking process.

We only use premium branded inks, and colours are independently verified to last between 100 and 200 years.

Delivery & returns

We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.

Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.
