Passenger vessel
A waterline model of a passenger vessel. The hull is painted black with green at the waterline and a fine white stripe above running the entire length of the vessel. The decks are painted off-white with mid-grey cargo hatch covers. The long uninterrupted foredeck includes anchor cable gear, a pair of derricks serving two hatches adjoining one another fore and aft, a derrick-rigged foremast with a further hatch aft of it. The white-painted superstructure extends virtually to the stern, with an enclosed bridge forward and pilot house above. The stern-half of the promenade deck is open, the forward part being enclosed with three groups of portholes. The boat deck above has nine pairs of lifeboats stowed on davits, on port and starboard sides, all painted white with light grey covers apart from the foremost pair which have white covers. There are two large funnels on B deck, painted canary yellow with French blue tops and a letter "M" in French blue on either side of them. Between the funnels and aft of the rearmost one are two large rectangular ventilation systems. At the stern of B deck is a mainmast. There are a total of four decks toward the stern, all devoid of fittings. On base of model: "55".
