The upperworks, accommodation superstructure and decks are painted a creamy white. The central upper bridge and accommodation superstructure is fitted with eight pairs of lifeboats rigged to davits, some of which are double banked, either side of a pair of tall oval shaped funnels, painted yellow. There are also five pairs of engine room ventilator cowlings, painted yellow. At the stern, there is a single rigged mast with four derricks, which serve a single grey covered cargo hatch. Right aft, there is a raised poop deck with two pairs of lifeboats rigged in davits and double banked. The number "56" is written on the underside of the hull.
