Scale 1:48. Plan showing the Inboard profile plan as proposed and approved for 'Mermaid' (1761), a 28-gun, Fifth Rate Frigate, for building at Hull by Mr Blaydes, and later for 'Hussar' (1763) and 'Soleby' (1763), also 28-gun, Fifth Rate Frigates.
There is annotation on the reverse of the plan relating to when the copies of the draught was sent to various yards.
Note: This plan is not for 'Daedalus' (1780) as she was a shorter ship built to a different design. Confusion had arisen from the name 'Mermaid'.

Rolled plans are printed in colour on a basic paper using affordable inks to keep costs down. We print directly from extremely high-resolution master files to ensure faithful reproduction of the original items.

Prices vary according to the dimensions of the original plans.

Manufactured in the UK

All products are printed in the UK, using the latest digital presses and a giclée printmaking process.

We only use premium branded inks, and colours are independently verified to last between 100 and 200 years.

Delivery & returns

We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all ship plan prints are despatched within 2-4 days via courier or recorded mail.

Delivery to the UK is £5 for a ship plan of any size.

We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.
