Portable horizontal dial for latitude 48˚ north.

The dial-plate is oval shaped and on its obverse side is an hour scale with a central circular floral design. The hinged gnomon is shaped and engraved with acanthus leaves and folds flat when not in use. The compass has eight points marked, with a fleur-de-lys for north and smaller ones for the quadrantal points. It is offset 3 east of north to allow for magnetic variation. The needle is shaped as an arrow, blued for north and surmounted by a brass pyramidal pivot. There is a raised glass plate over all. The dial-plate is supported by the compass bowl, which has a rose engraved on it, and one turned silver leg. The reverse is signed 'C Bonneuie AParis'.

Manufactured in the UK

All products are printed in the UK, using the latest digital presses and a giclée printmaking process.

We only use premium branded inks, and colours are independently verified to last between 100 and 200 years.

Delivery & returns

We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.

Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.

Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.

We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.
