Portland Bill to Portsmouth: The pursuit of the Spanish Armada by the English Fleet
Soon after the defeat of the Spanish Armada, in 1588, Petruccio Ubaldini wrote a brief account of the campaign and battle. Illustrations were made to accompany Ubaldini's history and Robert Adams (c.1540-95) produced 11 charts or maps representing the several actions between the Armada and English fleet.
