An English third-rate 60-gun ship viewed from closed on the port bow. Men are furling the main and mizzen topsails, with the fore topsail loosed on the cap, her decks are crowded with people. She may be the 'Lion', 'Dunkirk' or 'Gloucester'.
Offset rubbed on the back, from an accurate and detailed original. Approximately dated by the watermark.
