Portrait of the 'Charles', 8 guns, built in 1675 and wrecked in 1678

The English yacht 'Charles', shown from slightly before the port beam, with four wreathed ports forward and the figurehead of a man on horseback. Men are shown on board. This rather faint hull drawing is inscribed 'saerles' (Charles) and has been rubbed on the back, probably to have an offset taken from it.
