Portrait of the 'Phoenix'
Image information
Portrait of the 'Phoenix'
A portrait from before the starboard beam of the 'Phoenix', 42-gun fourth-rate, built 1671, burnt 1692. This is an accurate and careful drawing perhaps based on an offset but probably not in reverse. For an offset of this drawing, see PAH1850.
