Portrait of the 'Reiger'? Amsterdam. Built 1665. 72-guns. Also called 'Reigersbergen'

This is a ship portrait, seen from the starboard quarter. On the ship's tafferel is a bird, probably a heron, seen bending down. It is positioned between two small, decorated ports. On the rail above is a seated figure between two lions. There are two shields depicted on the vessel's counter. On the port side is a lion rampant, and on the starboard side is a depiction of crossed anchors. This represents the Admiralty of Amsterdam.

This is an unsigned offset which is not in reverse. It is taken from a careful and accurate original.
