Propeller model
Scale: Unknown. Model depicting 9 section propeller for the vessel 'Archimedes' (active 1835). The model is made entirely from a dark and stained wood and comprises of a series of nine two bladed propellers which turn around a single shaft, the whole of which is mounted in a tall tapering frame and base. The individual blades can be stowed in a single plane or set so as to produce a curving single two bladed propeller. There is a paper label with handwritten black ink which reads "Model of the screw propeller made by Mr H. Wimshurst in 1835 The screw of the "Archimedes" was built up from this model."

We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.
Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.
Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
