Queen's ware 'Boat Race Day' bowl, transfer-printed and painted. In the centre are shown the celebrations in Piccadilly. Around the outside are four transfers: 1) A mermaid and oars 2) The following steamer 3) Following boats passing under a bridge 4) The race. The designs are printed in sepia, with royal blue, blue, golden orange and pink colouring.
