Rear-Admiral Sir Thomas Pasley (1734-1808)
A half-length portrait of Sir Thomas Pasley facing to the right, wearing a rear-admiral's undress uniform of 1787-1795. He wears the First of June gold chain and medal. He lost a leg during that battle. In 1798, he became Commander-in-Chief at the Nore and in 1799, at Plymouth, which was his last service.
