Royal Naval uniform
This oval-shaped, copper, gilt shoulder belt-plate is an example of non-regulation accessories that were often worn with uniform. The outer edge is worked in bright work to create a repeating serpentine motif. In the central reserve is a large, line engraved, fouled anchor surmounted by an imperial crown. Above this is the inscription, engraved in block letters 'QUEEN CHARLOTTE 1st JUNE'. Below the anchor is the date 1794.Francis Thurkle

Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.
Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
