'Salsette' (1908)

A distant starboard broadside view of the passenger liner 'Salsette' (1908) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames.  She is painted white with buff funnels and canvas screens have been erected along the promenade deck.  An unidentified Watkins steam tug is alongside aft.  A Gamecock Steam Towing Co tug is at anchor on the left.  The photographer is looking north from Gravesend Promenade with Tilbury in the background.
