Sauceboat
A cream-coloured earthenware sauceboat with a transfer-printed blue border. The handle is decorated with a painted blue line. The sauceboat is printed on the base with a garter inscribed 'THE BLUE FUNNEL LINE' (Alfred Holt & Co. Ltd. Liverpool) enclosing the house flag of the company - blue with the monogram 'A H' on a white diamond in the centre. The retailer's mark 'EILLS L'POOL' is also printed on the base. One of four identical examples, AAA6315-AAA6318. The Blue Funnel Line of Liverpool ran steam services to the Far East and Australia from 1866. Their passenger trade mostly operated during the interwar period with services to Australia starting in 1910 and to the Far East after the First World War.

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.
Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.
Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.
