The model shows the apparatus for raising and lowering a two-bladed propeller. The hull is painted pink below the waterline with a narrow white stripe above and black above the waterline. A broad white stripe is painted along the gun deck, the deck section is painted off white, the inboard bulwark is painted dark green and the section face is ochre. The stern and quarter galleries windows all have nine lights, nine windows are painted, one is glazed and three are missing. Fittings include provision for a rudder, a propeller painted gold and a propeller shaft well. The model is mounted on a rectangular wooden baseboard, grained to resemble mahogany.
