Ship of 60 guns, starboard stern quarter
Scale: 1:60. A Georgian full hull model of a 60-gun, two-decker ship of the line (circa 1740). The model is decked. There is a discrepancy in the proportions of this model (148 feet by 41 feet, 1150 tons burden). They correspond to neither the 1733 Establishment (144 by 39 feet, 1068 tons) or to the 1741 Establishment that replaced it (147 by 42 feet, 1123 tons). This suggests that this model was a preliminary design for the 1741 Establishment that was modified further before being adopted.
