Ship of 90 guns
Scale: 1:60. A contemporary full hull model of a 90-gun three-decker ship of the line (circa 1702), built plank on frame in the Navy Board style. Model is decked and partially equipped with a capstan, belfry and deck gratings. The limited decoration and position of the chainwales, above the middle deck ports, would indicate a date of 1702. This is also confirmed by the royal arms of Queen Anne, displayed on the figurehead and stern, which were in use 1702-07. At this scale the model represent a ship measuring 162 feet along the gun deck by 47 feet in the beam and a tonnage of 1570 burden.
