(This view shows a surveyor at work.),  A view of the S.W. shore of Cape Breton Island, from St.Peter's Bay eastward,  Ramea Isles on the S.W. coast of Newfoundland, bearing N.N.W. 4 miles distant,  Sta. Maria Island the southernmost of the western isles, bearing N.bE. 9 leagues distant.
