Sphere and stand
Terrestrial table globe. Geographical details on the sphere show marks and labels of the antipodes of Graz. The west coast of North America is labelled, and California is peninsula. 'Nova Guinea' is depicted as a small island. Joseph II was made King of the Romans in 1764, and this globe may have been made for the occasion by monks of a monastery. The mapping of the globe reflects the cartographical ideas of approximately 1750, when California was depicted as a peninsula.

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.
Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.
Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.
