Sphere in meridian ring
Celestial miniature globe. Astronomical details on the sphere show stars marked by their Bayer notation. A total of 24 stars and two star groups are named. A magnitude table is lacking. Constellations are indicated by areas outlined by contours. There are areas with the names of the 48 Ptolemaic constellations and three of the non-Ptolemaic constellations are drawn.John Cary
