Strike of the National Union of Dock Labourers
Hundreds of workers in cloth caps during the 1911 Transport Workers Strike. Riots in Liverpool and strikes across the country caused chaos as goods and food were left undelivered to many cities. During the dispute, the ports of Liverpool, Southampton and London were almost at a standstill.
