Image information
Study of a brace of pheasants
This watercolour of a brace of pheasants is simply signed 'Herschel' making unclear which member of this large family produced this piece. The most likely candiates however are the two sisters, Margaret Louisa and Matilda Rose. Both produced a large amount of the material found in this collection.
possibly Matilda Rose Herschel or Margaret Louisa Herschel
