Study of an aak
A near port bow view of an aak, a small trading vessel with a swim head below and a short stem above. Only the foot of the mast is shown. There is a man forward, another seated by the mast and a third looking out from the large cabin-top aft.
This is an unsigned drawing by the Elder in pen, brown ink and grey wash over slight pencil-work.
