Tank testing model; Design model
Scale: Unknown. A full hull tank testing model of a destroyer or frigate of an unidentified type or class. It is built in bread and butter fashion comprising of five layers of planks, which have been shaped externally and gauged out internally to produce a shell of about 3/4 inch in thickness. It has been varnished overall with areas of degradation externally and is inscribed with the various stations in black ink. The hull is complete with a longitudinal bulk head and a single wooden beam athwart ships just past where the deck steps down towards the stern.

Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
