The British Power Boat Company
Eurich was an official war artist in the Second World War, and this oil painting is one of a group of eleven allocated to the National Maritime Museum afterwards. It is an interpretation of the British Power Boat Company, based at the Hythe yard on Southampton water. The company produced many motorboats and gunboats similar to the ones depicted.
