The 'Lancastria' at Funchal, Madeira
A tranquil scene in Funchal Harbour. Launched in 1920 as the 'Tyrrhenia' for the Anchor Line, a subsidiary of Cunard, she made her maiden voyage on 19 June 1922. Just two years later she was refitted and renamed 'Lancastria'. After1932 she was used exclusively for cruising.
