The 'Prince of Wales'
Inscribed 'The Prince of Wales Iron Steam Vessel built by Messrs Miller & Ravenhill, Blackwall'. The 'Prince of Wales' was made completely of iron. Her launch was not very successful as is shown on the picture, the stern got stuck on the wharf, the bow was twisted and there was a small leak. The repairs were completed in four days.
