The Queen's House from the north east showing north facade and terrace
Mounted with PAF2964-PAF3011 and PAF3013-PAF3064; page number 49. This drawing, probably made in the 1790s, usefully confirms that the ground to east and west of the House at this time was filled up to Park ground level, with a retaining wall (left). Beyond the far wall, which is roughly where the NMM west central wing now stands, is St Alfege's Church and to the left is what appears to be the south end bay of Newton's Greenwich Hospital School building of 1783. Their positions however are distorted, since the school is much nearer and the church well beyond it.
