The poem below the image is attributed as an extract from 'Nelson's Tomb' by William Thomas Fitzgerald. The print shows the cortege bringing Nelson's coffin from its lying in state in the Painted Hall to the barge which bore it up to Whitehall (in blustery weather) on 8 January 1806.
