The ships of Inglefield
The ships are seen at Holsteinsborg (now called Sisimiut), just north of the Arctic Circle. HMS Phoenix, a screw steamer, was accompanied by two sailing ships, HMS Talbot and Diligence. At this time very few naval ships had engines.
