The tower of St. Aubin

These drawings are part of the Channel Islands survey carried out under the direction of George Legge, later baron Dartmouth, containing descriptions of the harbours and forts, illustrated by Phillip's plans, views and charts. Phillips was a highly talented draughtsman who created bird's-eye views and other perspective drawings. He was killed in an explosion on Admiral Benbows' ship during the bombardment of St Malo in 1693.

Delivery & returns

We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all unframed prints are despatched within 2-4 days via courier or recorded mail.
