Trafalgar centenary commemorative mug

Trafalgar centenary commemorative mug. The body is in colour-glazed stoneware with a rope twist handle coloured brown. Moulded decoration on the sides is coloured green on a blue background with rope twist borders. Opposite the handle is an oval profile portrait of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) with a coronet above. 'NELSON' is inscribed below the portrait; '1758-1805' behind the handle. Two panels on either side of the portrait depict naval battles. The Trafalgar signal, 'ENGLAND . EXPECTS . EVERY . MAN . WILL . DO . HIS . DUTY' is placed on a green band around the bottom. The Royal Doulton mark is impressed on the base.
